For giving a boost for setting up plywood manufacturing in Gabon, GSEZ has signed an agreement with Gujarat (India) based resin manufacturers for setting up Formalin and Resin manufacturing plant in SEZ. They informed to The Ply Reporter that an investor from Gujarat has finalized to establish a Formalin [100 MT per day] & Resin Plant in Gabon SEZ. Methanol will be sourced from neighboring country Equatorial Guinea. They will be producing UF, MUF and PF from this plant. New Owendo International Port [NOIP] developed by GSEZ already has a provision of methanol storage.
