उत्तर भारत में लकड़ी की बढ़ती कीमतों ने प्लाइवुड उद्योग में कहर पैदा कर दिया है, और हर किसी ने कोर विनियर की बढ़ती लागत के चलते इनपुट कॉस्ट और प्रॉफिट मार्जिन का विश्लेषण करना शुरू कर दिया है। हमारे यमुनानगर संवाददाता ने बताया कि अध्िा काश किराए पर चल रही प्लाइवुड मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग इकाइयां शाॅर्ट नोटिस पर अपना परिचालन बंद कर दिया है। लीज पर चल रही फैक्ट्रियां भी तैयार माल की कीमत के एवज में मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग इनपुट कॉस्ट की गणना कर रहे हैं और इस लाइन से बाहर निकल रहे हैं।

Govt’s Directive Will Push Fire Rated Panel Demand

Delhi Government has directed to all hotels to use and replace furniture and door with fire rated panels and subsequently get certification from Fire Service department. The government ordered this after a massive fire broke out recently in a Hotel at Karolbagh, Delhi that led to death of 17 people. Government authority along with Fire Department officials found in an investigation that if the hotels use fire rated materials for making furniture, doors, flooring and carpeting, then they can save the life from such accident.

Rehau Sets To Expand To Tier 2 And Tier 3 Cities In India

After Sabah, Sarawak To Ban Of Log Exports

The two states of Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah have been major exporters of hardwood logs to India. But the Sabah state has completely banned the log export since last months, where as Sarawak state government is also planning to stop log exports. Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said, ‘The state government is moving towards a total ban of export of logs’.
