Action Machines Offer SM100 To Enhance Plywood Quality



Action Machines come up with an entirely new machine (SM - 100) which has been designed to enhance the quality of Plywood, even using lower grade of veneer (FAALI) which received overwhelming response and the company also received many orders for that. "Due to increase in rates of popular FAALI is being used in large quantity. Even large brands which were not using such FAALI in plywood manufacturing are opting for that now due to our machine SM - 100 which can make them in right angle. We have removed the problems for gap and overlap of FAALI through this machine, " said Mr Gagan Madiya of Action Machines.

GSEZ Gabon Focus On Plywood Manufacturing



Gabon Special Economic Zone presented number of companies at the exhibition which are operational in Gabon. The companies in their individual spaces within GSEZ stall were showcasing their products and services. Nkok SEZ, Gabon has transitioned towards a wood panel hub from veneer hub. Okoume Veneer coming from Gabon has become quite popular in India in last few years.

Rising Formalin Prices Increases Plywood Cost



Rupee has tumbled down to all time low against dollar, which has pushed up the rates of entire range of imported materials. Formaldehyde prices reported to up more than 10%, has fuelled the input cost of entire plywood manufacturing, which has been reeling under pressure due to high timber prices and weak demand. Industry says that their cost of manufacturing has gone up due high prices of all imported raw materials such as Formalin, Phenol, Melamine and Face Veneer.

Plywood Supply to Rise, Exceed Demand, Profits to Drop


In 2018, The plywood manufacturing capacity is set to rise by 25-30 percent thanks to new factories and expansions taking place at various places in North India. Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh shall witness beginning of around 150-200 new units within 2018 which will certainly flood over the market compared to anticipated demand. The pressure on sales will push the market towards “Buyers’ market” hence there will be a drop-in price of finished goods specially after May 2018.
