As predicted by Ply Reporter’s the Poplar Timber prices have been rising with spiral effect every day in north India, which has created an extra burden of plywood factories because their production cost has changed in last few weeks. Market reports that the Poplar timber prices have been climbing up since last 3 months on each day basis, and is reported to have touched near double mark in last 3 months. Producers from Yamunanagar say to the Ply Reporter’s team that there are new rates being quoted that are higher than the earlier each day in Mandi.

ऊपभोक्ताओं को अधिक सुरक्षा प्रदान करने और विवादों को शीघ्रता से निपटाने के लिए हाल ही में लोकसभा में कंज्यूमर प्रोटेक्शन बिल-2018 (उपभोक्ता संरक्षण विधेयक) पारित कर दिया गया है। इस बिल का उद्देश्य तीन दशक पुराने कंज्यूमर प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट को और बेहतर बनाना और सेंट्रल कंज्यूमर प्रोटेक्शन अथाॅरिटी (सीसीपीए) को स्थापित करना है। इस विधेयक में उपभोक्ता विवादों को समय पर निपटाने और प्रभावी प्रशासन और तंत्र के साथ-साथ उपभोक्ताओं के अधिकारों को लागू करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है। उपभोक्ता शिकायतों के त्वरित निपटारे के लिए इसमें जिला, राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उपभोक्ता विवाद निवारण आयोग (सीडीआरसी) को स्थापित किये जाने का प्रावधान है।

Imported Wood Based Units Freed From License In Gujarat

As per the latest notification under the provision of Mumbai Forest Act (Gujarat Correction Act) 2018 issued by the Forest and Environment Department of Gujarat, imported wood-based industrial units will no longer require a license to operate and run their factories in the state. Entire Wooden Industry of the Gujarat welcomes this move of government. This is said the move is aimed to promoting and encouraging the wood-based industry and related traders in the state.
